• Execute and understand assigned work in accordance with the Project Execution Plan, applicable Project Procedures and Standards, including GCME and/or Project Procedures on Safety and Quality Control within the man-hour and cost budgets and in accordance with project schedule targets.
• Coordination of all engineering and design activities and ensure that this is fully effective.
• Provide input and review the project execution schedule developed by Project Control Engineer to ensure that Project progress will be achieved.
• Participate and Lead in design reviews and checking engineering and design work as required.
• Prepare, develop and review where applicable all Project Engineering deliverables documents ensure that the quality of Project Engineering deliverables produced are of the specified quality.
• Review requisitions for sub-contracts and procurement of materials.
• Liase with all disciplines and Client as necessary to ensure compliance with Project Standards and requirements.
• Assist in planning and identifying detail of project engineering manpower requirements to Area / Lead project engineer. Periodically review and update project progress to control progress and man-hour expenditure. Investigate areas that are under performing and coordinate necessary corrective actions as required.
• Act as GCME representative versus client’s Project team and Discipline Engineers.
• Carry out necessary actions for Project engineering progress problem to ensure that progress is back on track.
• Ensure that all Project Engineering scope changes are properly raised and recorded to cover man-hours, costs and schedule impacts. Coordinate on preparation of back up documents.
• Ensure that issues between site and H.O engineering personnel are fully effective when assigned as Field Project Engineer.
• Review engineering deliverable and initiate appropriate corrective action

• Bachelor degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering (any field)
• 0-7 years experiences (Fresh graduates are welcome)
• Knowledge and understanding of Project Engineering Management in petrochemical and refineries projects.
• Knowledge and understanding of Feasibility, FEED, EPC and PMC in petrochemical and refineries projects.
• Proactive, confident with leadership and problem solving skills.
• Good communicator with a willingness to share knowledge and support others
• Clear communicator with good interpersonal skills.
• An active listener with the ability to focus on customer requirements.
• Multi-discipline knowledge.
• Good command of spoken and written English.
