At NTBX, our IT infrastructure is 100% on cloud, we are looking for an experienced cloud engineer to work with our engineering team to develop, implement, optimize, and maintain cloud-based solutions. You will be responsible for deploying and debugging cloud stacks, educating teams on new cloud initiatives, and ensuring the security of the cloud infrastructure.

To be successful as a cloud engineer, you should be able to identify the most optimal cloud-based solutions for our development teams and maintain cloud infrastructures following best practices and company security policies. A top-notch cloud engineer should have excellent troubleshooting skills, stay current with industry trends, and should be a good team player.

Job Responsibilities

• Design, engineer, and support Ngernturbo’s internal private cloud infrastructure.
• Assure the performance and availability of infrastructure.
• Develop and implement technical efforts to design, build, and deploy applications at the direction of lead architects, including large-scale data processing.
• Research and development of infrastructure service improvements to help scale our private cloud.
• Troubleshoot incidents, identify root causes, fix and document problems, and implement preventive measures.
• Educate teams on the implementation of new cloud-based initiatives, providing associated training as required.
• Employ exceptional problem-solving skills, with the ability to see and solve issues before they affect business productivity.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, IT, Telecommunication, or related fields.
• At least 1-year of experience.
• Experience with cloud provider AWS, Google cloud platform, Microsoft Azure.
• Experience in software deployment and system operation.
• Experience with container technology.
• Be familiar with MySQL, PostgreSQL, or Microsoft SQL.
• Experience in Unix Shell Script and performance tuning.
• Experience in Web Server (e.g. NGINX, Apache2).
• Solid networking background in TCP/IP, LAN, WLAN, Load balance, Reverse proxy, and Security (optional).
• Good understanding of various Operating Systems (e.g. Linux, Ubuntu, Suse, or Microsoft Windows).
